WHO: Turning Points for Children

Turning Points for Children is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that provides proven and innovative programs that nurture families with children who are struggling against difficult economic and environmental odds.  Our approach includes after-school family programs, teen parent education, and assistance to relative caregivers.

We provide the critical resources, life skills and supportive partnerships needed to create stronger families and raise children with the hope for brighter futures.

WHAT: Kids at Heart Benefit Event 2010

Kids at Heart is an annual fundraiser that gives friends the opportunity to gather in celebration of a worthy cause. The evening includes dinner, exciting entertainment, a live and silent auction, and awarding the 2010 Kids at Heart Honoree, Arlene C. Ackerman, Ed. D.  Previous honorees include: Vai Sikahema, Dr. John Alston, Sonny Hill, Robb Armstrong and Kathy O’Connell.
